Meet the Faculty
Quinta Brunson on Sleep
When she’s not teaching 2nd grade as Janine Teagues on Abbott Elementary, Quinta Brunson might be behind the scenes writing or producing. You might also find her trying a new restaurant or playing Mario Kart while on her spin bike.
Fun Fact: Quinta is the first Black woman to win an Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series since 1981.
Maitreyi Ramakrishnan on Cognitive Fitness
When she’s not playing Devi Vishwakumar in Never Have I Ever, she might be getting bubble tea with her friends, gaming, singing, drawing, playing the piano, or hanging out with her dog.
Fun Fact: Maitreyi is the first Tamil-Canadian actor to lead a Netflix series!
Chloe Kim on Physical Fitness
Chloe Kim is a snowboarder and two-time Olympic gold medalist.
Fun Fact: She became the youngest woman to win an Olympic snowboarding gold medal when she won gold in the women's halfpipe at 17 years old. When she’s not snowboarding, she might be jamming to some of her favorite hip hop or K-pop, playing the piano, or trying new recipes and restaurants. She’s also fluent in French and Korean. Yup, she can order a delicious bowl of bibimbap as easily as she can nail a frontside 1080.
Kristen Bell on Emotional Well-Being
You might know Kristen from her roles in Veronica Mars or The Good Place.
Some of her favorite things are board games, singing, sloths, trying new food, and loving on her pets! She practices yoga and meditation to manage anxiety and protect her emotional well-being! She’s afraid of puppets. But she made it through this course like a champion anyway!
Seth Rogen on Nutrition
Seth is known for some iconic movies and TV shows like Knocked Up, Superbad, Pam & Tommy, and Platonic. He co-founded Hilarity for Charity with his wife Lauren in 2012 after Lauren’s mom was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s.
When he’s not on screen, he’s hiking, writing, podcasting, hanging with his cavalier pup, or making pottery!
